Lucinity in Top 40 solutions for UN SDGS
We’re proud to be in an illustrious company of businesses from 29 countries who are innovating forward sustainably and responsibly.
Lucinity has been named a WSA Winner in 2021 for our efforts to fight financial crime with a next-generation, digital transformation-enabled anti-money laundering (AML) solution.
In the wake of major social and political changes over the current pandemic, social entrepreneurs and digital innovators around the globe are taking bold steps to safeguard diversity, equity, and inclusion. Being a Member of the WSA Grand Jury, I have witnessed this first-hand. As became clear, there is no silver bullet. No single solution can tackle the UN SDGs. Yet, in pushing ourselves to think outside the box and draw on the best empirical evidence that exists, the convening WSA applicants showcased promising evidence that we still have significant hope for the UN 2030 agenda. – Sachi Wickramage
We’re proud to be in an illustrious company of businesses from 29 countries who are innovating forward sustainably and responsibly. All of the winners, and indeed all those on the shortlist, exemplify the importance of stepping up to do good with technology.
“Money laundering is a crime that fuels crime: dirty money is funding the reprehensible likes of terrorism, human and drug trafficking, and more. We can have a substantial positive impact on society by transforming AML, in addition to helping our customers save on the enormous cost of compliance,“ says Lucinity founder and CEO Gudmundur Kristjansson (GK).
Out of 800 projects and products, being in the top 40 is a tremendous honor and a true recognition of our efforts to Make Money Good. And, just as financial institutions look to us for guidance in making compliance better with our technology, so do we look to our peers through the WSA to show us positive change in their industries.
We’re looking forward to joining the WSA Global Congress on March 22-24, 2022., and are happy to invite you and your friends, partners, clients, and investors to see the companies that build the future better.
